Default Slp lid plug didn't seal all the way

Can I plug it from the inside with duct tape or should I go buy black electrical tape and tape it from the outside? Thanks guys

I would recommend against using any type of tape, but you might take that plug to a local hardware or auto parts store and see if you can't find something similar in size. If you dnt come up with anything there you might give SLP a call for this specific replacement part.

I used Atv and sealed it up. Let it sit over night to harden and haven't had an issue

I used black electrical tape on my last 2 FBodies and had no issues whatsoever.

Mine fit perfectly....well not perfectly, it was a PITA to get in, I had to heat the damn thing up with a hairdryer to get it to fit in the hole in the lid but its nice and snug on there now.

The box portion over the filter is another story I have 2 small gaps there but not enough to bother with
