Default Must Make Car Faster Than Douchebag Friend's

Okay so everyone has a friend that thinks your car is **** and that theirs is faster.

He's made comments in the past like "Well your car isn't a real muscle car" and "My car is a 5 speed and yours is automatic" and ****. Just a really arrogant kid.

He has a 1994 Dodge Stealth RT/TT. Its DOHC with two turbos.
His upgrades are; 18 inch $1600 rims(lol), headers (not sure if long tube or short tube), Some red hose ****, and thats all I can think of.

We plan on going to the track next spring when I turn 18 to settle it.
(He won't race on street roads cause he's a pussfag"

I have a 1998 Formula A4 stock except for SLP LM1.

If my car already isn't faster, what do I need to do to make it quicker?
I want a SLP lid, LT Headers, ORY, and possibly a stall. I'm not 100% what a stall does or what kind to get so if someone could clear that up for me, that would be great.
Which upgrades should I do that will be the most bang for my buck?
H/C aren't really in my price range right now.

Also! What are track rules? Do I need a roll cage or anything like that?
I'll be 18 and so will my friend. We want to do the 1/4.
I'm from Michigan by the way, incase that has anything to do with the laws.

Thanks everyone!! Help me put this kid in his place.. behind my car

You'll be fine with tires and a lid.

do some suspension modes ,lower control arms and drag radials and alot more.get a CAI and a ls6 intake.get a 3600+rpm stall converter.install a thunder racing 224r cam pkg .get a mail order tune by frost.whats your budget ?do you want ported heads ?you don't need a roll bar until 11.50,you will need a drive shaft lop,and helmet.

You should be able to whack him now blasting your a/c, bumpin to your favorite tunes while strolling down the 1320 watching him in your rear view mirror...Dont forget to put your hazards/four ways on once you know you have the win in the bag!

Yeah you'll beat him as is. Those Stealths are like 3800 lbs too. Where from MI are you from? Do you go down to woodward at all on friday nights?

Put two bananas, one in each exhaust pipe and tell him you can't hear the turbos spoolin..I think the going rate for bananas is cheaper than mods to the formula

I am sure you have him now, if you are worried, get some tires, pacesetter long tubes, lid and stall....I would just buy some tires, make sure you have a decent gear in the thing and a 3200-3600 stall converter. You will whip him so fast off of the line, he will be lining up to buy a Formula.

LMFAO!!!!! best thread title I've ever read... What attracts more attention than this? Dnt even worry about that kid... I'd rather walk than drive his car... Your good as you stand. Lid is only $90-100 tho. I would get one for 1st mod. LTs are $440ish from WS6store(my favorite sponsor we have) that's 10rwhp.LTs are 25rwhp. Keep that LM1

If you want headers the best bang For your buck would be BBK long tubes ws6store carries them and the install is a lot easier than other brands. And get the cold air intake. If you really wanna destroy him Pick up a stall atleast a 3200 the good brands are yank, circle d, revmax.

get Longtube headers , LID, and an affordable FROST mail order Tune. That should fit your budget perfectly... and if you got extra, get a stall and you should be set to go

Paychecks are small at 18 at least for most of us. Takes a bit to save for those things, and have extra in the bank for emergencies.

OP if you do have the funds then I'd go with what bestlude mentioned.

Yep.

It's a low 13 second car with that and the Dodge is a 14.5 second "terror". You will club him like a baby seal.
