Default Nobody has Hooker catback in stock what are similar options?

Ok so I just got my car back from the shop and it is sick loud. Ported heads with a big cam, long tubes, off road y-pipe, and SLP Loudmouth. It is way to damn loud for everyday driving. I talked to a few people and they recommended the Hooker catback but no one has one in stock and nobody knows when they are getting more. Are there any similar exhausts, that offer similar performance that are close to $300?

summitracing....jegs....advance auto parts...and a couple sponsers at the right have them in stock...and if you relaly get desperate pm me, i can order one for you from the local shop here and get it the next day then ship it to you. but only if you are desperate

you will love the sound. but have you thought about putting a bullet muffler or moroso muffler in place of the resonator? and actually i just did a kind of odd set up for a friend with aloudmouth. we kept the loudmouth resonator in place then put two more (one on each side), bullet style mufflers right before the tips. sounded great !
pm me if youd like more info man

I need a real deal muffler a resonator isnt going to cut it this thing is just too loud and pissing my neighbors off. I live in a very well established area so the people get pretty touchy about loud cars.

try looking into an SLP two out the left exhaust. I love the way it sounds! a little bit more money, but well worth it.

How about replacing the SLP resonator with another performance Bullet-type muffler. people here seem to like the 18inch Dynomax .

The Hooker cat-back will be loud with your setup too. Not as loud, but loud. I find mine is a bit loud for daily driving. I'm going to try a bullet in the I-pipe

The Hooker catback is the junk, IMO. I only lost 7 rwhp over a cutout on my car, and it's nice and quiet idling but has a clean note at WOT.

Got mine @ Advanced Auto parts. DO NOT go in there asking for a catback, they'll tell you they don't carry it. Just get the part # online, and have them run it. It'll show up as a warehouse order, and they'll have it shipped to your local store for free..

Thats how I did it.

thats exactly how i got mine too josh. but the kid at the sales desk knows my girlfriend so he hooked me up with his discount and i got thatbeyotch for 200 bones. Ordered it on a friday, saturday at noon it was there, got off work at 1, picked it up, installed it later that nice...thing about advance auto parts they dont understand parts by names...such as catback or if you say i want headers...they have no idea...go online, look up the part number and give them that sheet of paper, 90% of the time, they can have it shipped next day to the store and its in by noon that following day. they can even ship it to your house for next day for most items i think its 9 bucks every 20 lbs. not sure on that though
