Default WTF is this!!! Removing AIR 2002 LS1 f car

Okay, so removing this crap from my 2002 Camaro, and BAM!!! WTF IS THIS??? I circled it in RED and the BLUE line is a little vacuum hose thing going to whats circled in YELLOW. What are these components? Need help quick before I drive it.
Thanks

UPDATE:
Removed that canister that had all the AIR vacuum hoses attatched to it and the bitch poured a lil water onto my coil pack f*cking m'effer POS emission JUNK! Still need to know what is that sensor thing circled in YELLOW and if I remove that? There is a small hose running from that sensor thing to the back of the intake manifold... Do I just plug that hose off and remove that sensor thing circled in YELLOW???

The round thing in your red circle is the secondary air injection shutoff valve.

It's part of what you're removing.

My illustration of the system does not show the connector in your yellow circle so it's probably part of something else so leave it until you know more about it.

The thing in yellow is a solenoid of some sort for air. You can remove it anp plug the hose that goes to the manifold. But some have said it is easier and more reliable to put a cap on the remaining solenoid nipple and leave the hose to the manifold connected like stock.

Does anyone know where you can find a rubber cap kit to do this mod? Or is everyone prettying going to the auto parts store and buying a variety of sizes?

Get a vacuum cap kit anywhere, try lowes . Also once you cap the back of the manifold unplug and remove the cylinder, it is what controls that round thing you removed.

As for those vacuum caps you buy at hardware stores or even auto parts places... Plan to replace them every 4-5 months. They're rubber and in the engine bay they dry rot FAST. Always try to use silicone caps if you can. That's why the LS6 valley comes with one for capping the valve cover nipple.
