Definitely looks like you're right, cam would be the best bet since it looks like you are a manual trans car.

Have you done suspension yet?

I don't see a tune on there, that would be pretty important since you've got headers now. Tires, good tires for traction if that's an issue.

No one's mentioned it yet, but if you do get a cam you should upgrade your heads too.

First, how much power would you like to make, and how much do you want to spend? All of the above suggestions are great of course, but the more specific you are the better we can all help

Sorry guys i have a tune right now but it was tuned in vegas and i live in utah which is about 3500 ft different in elevation.. should i tune again? yes my car is M6 and its already lowered with eibach pro kit.. but I would love an ls6 intake if i could find a good deal on a used one.. what cam would be good? what is everyone else using.. the car is a daily but id love to be around 400 to the wheels.. maybe 380 at the least if possible. does that sound reasonable for a daily?

What constitutes a good cam is very, very, very subjective. One guy might think Cam A is the best thing ever made, and another guy might think it's laughably small. If you haven't poked through the cam sticky (https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...cam-guide.html), it'll give you some ideas on what to start looking at.

380rwhp shouldn't be inordinately hard, especially if you have a good tuner to get everything set up after the cam goes in. I'm sitting at 360rwhp, bolt-ons only, and if I only picked up 20hp from a cam swap, I would be rather unhappy. Course, some "baby" cams don't add a whole lot of power, but they don't seem to be too popular any more.

Just poking around on ebay, I didn't realise LS6 intake prices had jumped so much. You'd almost be ahead to just spend the extra money on a FAST if you plan on running a decently-sized cam.
