Default wich exhaust for me?

I have a 2000 trans am nhra edition with lt and stock y without cats with a flowmatster currently. The flowmaster was there before i got it. But after the lt and no cats it sounds terrible. What im looking for is loud but good tone quality. And under 450$ what dp you suggest?

MAGNAFLOW is cheap compared to other CBs from what i remember but might be too quiet for you.

It depends on what kind of sound you want, Borla and Corsa have a louder tone to them, but Magnaflow seems to be a good amount quieter than those. For $450 there aren’t that many exhaust out there. I currently have a Slp Loudmouth, but it is so f***king loud, but I like it the way it is. My best advice would be to go to Youtube and watch tons of videos of different exhaust and find one you like and go for it.

If your pipes are in good shape why not just replace the muffler itself to save on cash? Magnaflow and hooker both offer a great sound but there not as loud as others like borla, corsa and the loud mouth. I have a loud mouth 1 and I liked how loud it was but I kept getting pulled over so I added a 1 chamber flowmaster which sounds way better then i thought it would and it no longer has any rasp nor does it have any drone but it's still loud and deep hopefully it's enough to keep the cops off my back....

Just put a bullet muffler in the I-pipe. It won't effect the flow but it'll help smooth the tone without effecting the overall loudness very much.

Both are aluminized steel:
Dynomax #24219, 3" in/out, 4" dia., 16" case L., about $61 shipped.
Or...
Magnaflow #18129, 3" in/out, 4" dia., 18" case L., about $49 shipped.

Are you sure? I have never seen Lontubes attached to a stock Y. Most Y conficuration exhaust will be a bit raspy with LT/ORY, with muffler choice affecting how much. I would think any full case Magnaflow/Hooker Aerochamber/etc could be swapped in for well under $450.
