It's supposed to be one of the best as far a flow goes but I wouldn't know for sure. They're all pretty close though.

Supposed to be pretty good. I can't see it flowing better than a TSP Rumbler though...

Our kits definitely open up exhaust flow. The mufflers we use are of straight through design which allows the exhaust to flow as freely as possible. The kit we offer for a 99 trans am 5.7L for instance, part # 15684, opens up flow for gains of 18 HP and 15 ft/lbs tq on a stock vehicle.

I agree, my buddy has Borla on his WS6 and it's real nice, but I still prefer my Magnaflow, plus it's pretty much half the price.

^This. It's probably the best "crossflow" muffler on the market for these cars but not the best flowing when compared to others. The only thing about Magnaflow is their fitment is hit or miss. You should search on that one. Some people have no issues and others do. I ordered a Magnaflow kit and hated it. Not because of the flow or sound but because the fitment sucked so bad. My tail pipes were crooked and I couldn't fix them. No matter what I did the system would rest on the panhard bar and always rattled and I just got tired of dealing with it. If I were you I would just spend the extra $90-$100 or so and order a GMMG. I originally wanted a GMMG and couldn't afford it so I settled on the Magnaflow. Never again. And this is all just IMO. Good luck OP with whatever you decide.

Flows really well, but dam is it tame, with my stroker and big cam it sounds stock, little disappointed bc of that but whatever, mine fit very well and looks great, i think they should offer diff types of mufflers so you can pick the sound you like

Exactly why I dropped my American Thunder cat-back. You really had to be listening to it to hear my cam.

Magnaflow has been making good exhausts for a long time. They are one of the better manufacturers around and their prices have always been reasonable compared to others. I've never heard anyone say bad things about Magnaflow products.

Good luck.

I used Magnaflow on my ls-swapped Miata, and love it. Granted, we built it from scratch, but it sounds awesome....not too loud, not too quiet. The perfect balance to me.
