Default Exhaust set-up thoughts.

I have been contemplating my exhaust that I want and wanted some feedback or suggestions. I am going a true dual set-up. My plans are Magnaflow X-pipe 17092, Magnaflow 14419 or KOOKS race mufflers 3" 549-R300-14. Maybe use Magnaflow high flow cats 94309. If you guys can think of a better alterantive to the cats or suggest no cats. I am going for more sound than overall performance. I want it to sound throaty and NO RASP hince why going true duals. I will be having a local shop weld pieces together. Thanks for any input. Car is WS6 full-bolt on, MS3, terminator heads, etc..

The Kooks race mufflers are really short, I go with the Magnaflow 14419s.

Dynomax bullets with cats sounds amazing on true duals. They are cheaper and will be easier to fit than the oval case mufflers.

I like the idea. But I'd go with the Magnaflow 10782 instead, as it makes more of a true X.

I was trying to stay on passenger side of car similar to the kooks set-up. Is there a difference in power or sound? Maybe H-pipe for better sound?

The h-pipe will give a smoother sound with less rasp. I can't say anything about the cats as I have never had cats on anything I own, other than when it was stock.

What about this for starters? I know I said keep on passenger side but I can have the shop route pipes to the passenger side and up and over the axles. What you guys think?
I could go under axle but I have the pro-kit and think clearance will be a problem.

What design system do you have in mind, A Kooks TD OTA or TSP dumps. If trying to do TSP style yea that universal will get you started .But if trying to do top shelf, try to copy a Kooks its about the best out there.

I was actually trying to mirror the Kooks system but spend half. I was using one x-pipe that would allow me but someone stated the other x-pipe is better or more true.

Sounds good use a X pipe similar to Kooks , a narrow throat parallel X pipe. As far as muffler try to find something similar to Kooks KO 300-12.

2 1/2 or 3 , A custom system in aluminum coated pipe can be done at fraction of the cost.

Farm out have no shop nor tools. I am loving the dynomax bullets. I am scratching the magnaflows and going with them. Do i need the 16.5" bullets or the 23.3"?
I am going to search this week for a reputable shop. What prices are average? So I will know. I will have the collector/reducers, universal x-pipe kit that goes to axles, mufflers and tips. All they do is up over the axle and of course hang the exhaust. Thanks for the great feedback.

Well you need to find a shop that is experienced in custom bending and is willing to do the work .Most shops just know how to do OEM replacement and do not want or know how to do what we are talking about. Most shops are not going to want to install your parts, alot of them are going to look at you like your stupid when you tell them what you want TDs 3" OTA.
