Default IAT cable and ??

Can you guys tell me what wires I am looking at here? I know one is the IAT but which one and what is the other? Also, since I don't have the IAT hooked up my car is running extremely rich but I don't have the connector for it. So can I have the tuner tune out the IAT or do I need to get the piece for the intake and make a hole for it?

There is a fuel enrichment for different temps. Tuner would need to zero out the adjustment range on it and it should help the issue. Or the better solution get a working IAT sensor wired in. Purple 3 prong connector is TPS.

The temp sensor is cheap and easy to place. Easier to make it work than to tune around it. The tps needs to be hooked up or it will run rich as well.

I will hook the temp sensor up since that should be a quick and easy fix. The TPS can easily be tuned out though correct? That I will not be able to run cause its not hooked up at all

How do you not have a tps? I assume your running a carb? Or your not sure what the tps is? Or something is funky with your tb?

I'm talking about the throttle position controller, guess I was confusing the two as the same.

So I'm still looking for some info on this. What is TPS? The connector that is said to be TPS has not been hooked up and I'm rewiring the motor so I'm curious as to where this is supposed to go? Thanks.

Bringing this post back because I still need to find out what that other plug is in the picture. Car has been running without it for two years but I'm doing a wire tuck and would like to know what to do with it.

If the car has been running with the plug not connected and you have no codes, cut the wires one at a time and tape them up.

Save the plug for when you discover down the road you do need it.

Ok quick question with pictures. I have what I believe to be the TPS connected so what could the other plug be? Here are a couple pics for reference.

And this is the plug that is hooked up in the picture above

And then the one that I originally posted about

That round three pin plug is only used for the TPS. Are you saying your harness has two of them?

Yeah both of those plugs are on my harness. Guess I'll just get rid of the one that has not been used
