Default ss hood

I have a z28 98 Camaro. And i was wondering if i got the ss hood would it make a performance difference? Thanks

very extremely minimal unless your ***** out on the car and even then its mostly just for looks

Won't really do anything, LS1 SS's/WS6 hoods are not functional because of the way the stock airboxes are setup.

Uh....

Yes, they as very much functional. Not worth much in terms of HP difference, but they are in fact...functional.

The WS6 more so than the SS, esp if you remove the rain baffles.

They aren't really functional, LS1 SS/WS6 air boxes from the factory are not sealed to the hood for a true "ram-air" effect (not that you can't easily seal them).

Not sealed, but the WS6 air box function fairly good as CAI (scantool showing IAT will show this).
