Introduce your throttle body to a dremel or die grinder. Just don't drink too much while you do it. Helluva lot easier to remove material than put it back haha

Yes its really easy. When you pay someone else to do it you're money goes back into their cost of the die grinder (air or dremel type), various bits needed, and their TIME. Porting a throttle body has very little sweat labor but it takes a good chunk of time to get that knife edge. Not much to it honestly. Disassemble, grinding bits to remove bulk, sanding wheel and soft polish wheel to get that nice finish, reassemble.

It really is pretty simple process. Their are some good write ups to. If you have more money then time having someone do it is a pretty good option as well. At least it sin't that expensive. Tried it with a dremel once and got impatience real quick. Not too bad but the ones I have done with an air grinder were a breeze.
