BBk's Swapped for 1-7/8" ARH
Finally got around to swapping my headers this rainy weekend. Just a side by side comparing the bbk's to the ARH 1-7/8, I did polish the arh's up a bit call me **** lol.The arh's to my surprise weigh about the same as the bbk's and honestly fit just as well despite having bigger primaries.
Overall the install went pretty easy once I had the car up in the air the bbk's fell out and with just a slight push the ARH's slid in, no cutting grinding or removing of ANY excess parts. I have installed pretty much every header brand I can think of minus kooks and the BBk's/ARH's are the only brand I have installed that didnt need anything unhooked. Overall I'm happy with it.
Now I just have to replace my old rubber t/a mount with a poly one since its all worn out and these thing suck lol.

just got the car back from having the exhaust touched up and they did a great job. bassani is lined up well and tucks up much better. Overall the arh's quieted the bassani down from my bbk's which i thought was a little weird, and they also smoothed out the exhaust tone quite a bit. there was never any rasp with the bassani but now it just seems the overall note is clearer and more refined.
The butt dyno also says I may have picked up a bit in power. its a little cold out today but overall it felt like it had a little more when i got on it. Overall it makes since sice the bbk's were 1-3/4 with a 2.5 collector while the arh are 1-7/8" and 3" collector.

Your fuel/air ratio may have changed a little bit due to opening up the pipes.. so you could see some better gains depending on how good your tuner (guy) is

Is the car lifted?? Seriously..... Looks lifted.. And almost looks like my SLP LT' old design hang down just as much... I really wanted a set of ARH headers, but had to spring for the Koni/BMR sale. There goes that money.. :-\

Overall I love em' they dont come close to the tseering linkage or body plenty of clearance everywhere for 1-7/8. Best part was nothing had to come off. Literally slipped the bbks out and these slid in.
I've been trying to sell them haha but I dont have the y pipe anymore

I swapped out my bbks for the arh 1 7/8s when I finished up my build. Decided to by them as a gift to myself for finishing a H/C swap haha. I love them too, they looked beautiful and fit great. My passenger side went in a little bit difficult but I loosened the engine mount pedestal and lifted the engine a little bit, slid right in then. Great pieces for sure!
