Hey should i do anything to these to prep them before install. Coat, wrap or anything like that. Do i need to worry about the heat, melting things?

Make sure your plug wires aren't touching whenever you put them on and no wires right on them (02 sesnor wires/etc) and you are good to go.

I've had mine in for about 6 months now and they are still fine. They are stainless steel, so depending on how often you drive it, they will last a very long time. Of course, it doesn't hurt to put some heat wrap around them or something like that, but thats your choice! Good luck with the install!
