Default Sagging motor mounts

I have a 2000 camaro with original mounts and 180k mile, i just installed a set of kooks headers and after adjusting the steering linkage and steering column i was able to get this much clearance

that works on this set of used ones i picked up on ebay, but i have a ceramic coated 2" set i am going to install with my new motor and im curious to how much the new poly mounts going with it will REALLY raise it

Poly mounts are pretty much a must do mod with longtubes because of clearance issues and rattling.

Poly mounts will put the motor in proper position, however, clearance may still be tight. Nature of the beast.

I meant will installing the poly give me an extra 1/4" or no way in hell start filing the steering column?

Like I said in the first post, I have new mounts, just did not put them in because it is easier to just put them in with the new motor that is going in in about a month... I was able to get clearance on the headers I am currently running and that is not a problem. People seem to keep missing that

The point of this thread is to determine a number as to an idea on how much they are sagging and if the clearance I am going to gain with the new mounts(that are on the new motor) will be atleast 1/4" so I can run my 2" headers

its honestly hard to tell. t depends on how worn your stockers are i would say 1/4" is not out of the question. I got close to that with mine and mine werent completely shot. however its hard to know for sure

Thanks for an answer, was getting kinda tired of everyone calling me dumb for not doing them with the headers when no one actually paid attention to what I was saying/doing.
