Default which injector?

2004 Corvette with bolt-ons. Makes 372 at the wheels. Added a nitrous/NANO kit and on a 100 shot it's over 500 to the wheels. We're eventually going to add H/C/I so I want to start looking at injectors now. Our goal will be 600 to the wheels on nitrous and 9s in the quarter-mile. What would be the best injector?

Thanks.

Scott

We have a set of 50# injectors that will handle your needs as long as you have a good fuel pump (not voltage booster on stock pump) to handle your demands.

We do run a stock fuel pump with a Kenne Bell BAP. It seems to work fine. From the research that I've done there are very few good choices for an aftermarket fuel pump for the 2004 C5 and changing it is a PITA.

You are correct but id rather do it right than have the stock pump crap out and leave you with a lean condition on the juice. Even if you have a safety for that, the damage will be done.

I agree 100%. When we tear it down to go H/C/I I'll add a stand alone system. Much easier to deal with, will only use when we spray, and the BAP and stock pump should feed the NA application just fine.

So 50# is what you recommend for our needs?

You wouldnt need a stand alone if you just upgrade the stock pump. The BAPs can go bad as well. I like the simpler techniques I guess. If you have a lift the fuel pump isnt that bad at all really.

The GTP injectors(around 42 psi) would work great and look just like the stockers but white instead of grey. I have some if you decide to go that route

The gtp injectors are an older design also and arent new, cleaned, or flowmatched, and wont likely handle above 440 hp.

I bought a set from Mike and they did just fine. Of course I'm running a wet-shot so the only thing fed from the injector is the motor.

Nice post. I have some that are flowmatched etc. I have built tons of cars past 440HP with those injectors. What kind of nonsense is that? I did two that hit almost 500....at the wheels. They are standard Bosch 3s with a 4 hole pintle and they work well. Easy to tune with on HP and EFI live too.

Not nonsense. I have seen some horrid injectors come off of them. I used to work and modify them before the LS stuff. Maybe you should get a sponsorship if you are flying under the radar selling injectors etc on here.
