Default PCV assembly removal??

Anybody have any tips on how to remove the PCV assembly from the rear of the driver side valve cover? I can't gain access to the elbow attached to the grommet.

I tried searching but I was only able to find catch can write ups that assumed the old PCV assembly had already been removed. If anybody has or knows where to find instructions on how to build your own new assembly, that would be great also.

It should just pop off. Must b hanging up on something on backside. Use an inspection mirror and see what its hooked on.

It slides right out; it's just in a rubber grommet.

Finally got it. Super tight back there and the wiring harness was preventing it from pulling straight up and out. Was in there pretty snug, I used a flat screwdriver to pry it out.

Thank you for the replies.
