Talking New Pacesetter design is better!

I just had my new Pacesetter headers installed at RPM in Lewisville, TX and the fit is great! No cutting on the k-member, and no banging. The shop said they slid right in. I'll try to get some photos up ASAP to show you how nice they fit. They aren't even close to the k-member. They also have thicker flanges, and look great coated. They were a coated pair with AIR/EGR for a 2000 LS1.

Thanks again TSP for getting them to me quick.

i installed mine yesterday. dunno how they were before but i didn't have to cut a single thing, i did loosen up the drivers side motor mount and get a tranmission jack to tilt engine up to slide the drivers side head in but other then that the install wasnt that hard at all, everything went well, 'cept for they f-ed up all my egr/air tubes where they are supost to come out and the angle they are supost to come out, but oh well just gonna !egr and !air so its all good. but my pacesetters seem to be terrific quality for the $$

Thats what I like to hear since I plan on buying some within a few months. I do remember how the "older" sets sucked for fit. We had to trim my friend's K-member and bend the y pipe.

yeah their a great fit. only thing i noticed was that the pass. side 1st plug wire is kinda close to the header, on the older design their was more room, anyone else notice this?
