For us on the phone who can't see what the graph says, tell us what it says.

That was comparing a stock LS7. It would be nice to see the FAST on the same engine.

For me the real issue is the MSD vs the FAST.

The MSD raises torque peak to around 6000 rpm which is something the current FAST cannot match. Even if it's close in the low to mid range, the MSD will run away from the FAST on the big end!

I knew that the torque peak was going to have to shift upwards for the gains they were claiming to have made over "another intake" to be true. The runner lengths look to be very similar to current offerings, so I would assume that the cross section of the MSD is a good bit larger than the stock LS7 and Fast intakes. I would also assume that with the added cross section that the taper angle of the runner is also much greater than the stock intake and Fast intakes. Keeping the runner length similar to current offerings keeps the low speed torque production up, and the increase in taper angle and cross section allows for greater cylinder filling at high RPM.

Now that I see it, I can dig it. Looks like a great piece that we'll have to try out on a few engines we've got going here.

still waiting for ls1 results. as I keep saying its hard to compare the air requirements of a h/c ls7 to an ls1/6. i think the runner design will be worth some i just dont know if you'll see these huge gains on a setup like that. Im tuned in and time will tell

If it gains more than a Fast on an LS7, and is cheaper... Just seems like a no brainer to me.
Just wanted to add for info, I'm using a FAST 90 on a stock motor (stock block, heads, cam) and I need to look back into my log, but if I recall correctly, I picked up.2x tenths, and a couple MPH roughly from it. I know it's not a HP number, but it does make a difference.

If it made those kinds of gains on a NA ls7, I can only imagine what I'll pick up on a 416LS3 with an F1-A procharger at ~16psi. I can't wait.

I'm curious to see how the map hooks up on a 4th gen. I'm so itching to spend money, this wait game sucks. I hope to see some LS1 testing soon.

I doubt this is going to fit under a C5 cowl to begin with. You've already got to lower the engine in a C5 to accommodate the Fast, and this thing is taller...

Looks more like Fast medium runners for me...
