Default Time for a catch can?

Took my fast 92 TB off today to bore out the small *** iac holes and I noticed a small film of oil inside the intake. Is this normal with a bigger cam (244/248 .630 112)?

Should I add a catch can? If so where can I get a good one for street strip use?

Found this one. Is the clean air oil separator necessary?

It's something that's hard to mess up. I made a homemade catch can from PVC fittings and a course stainless steel kitchen scrub pad. Going to get a nice one eventually but this one works and is small and discrete. It catches a teaspoon of oil every few hundred miles so it works pretty well.
