Default Question about !AIR...

I want to delete AIR by removing the least amount from the engine bay as possible, so come smog time it isnt a pain in the *** to hook everything back up. Can I just disconnect the air pump and put in block off plates? Im not doing this for cosmetic purposes, im doing it because its causing valve flutter(loud ticking) right after the install of my LT's. FYI, I do not have any exhaust leaks and I did do the restrictor mod. Please help, thanks...

you can remove all the tubing, run block off plates, and leave the pump, and pull the fuse.

there isnt really all that much tubing anway, just goes to the headers, snakes around the back then runs along the fender well to the pump under the left head light.

just pull the fuse and put plates on the headers between the manifold and the tubes. then you can leave it all in tack.
