Looking for a few opinions here, i have a 2002 trans am ws6 with a slp intake and slap loudmouth catback. I'm looking to get a stainless steal headers(long pipes), stainless steal y pipes and 373 gears also a tuner. Just wondering what everybody is running!

So many people have ran this setup and this is how it often ends. It sounds great loud, and you may even think its cool for a while. Then you get tired of all the attention (unwanted). Then you start to think it drones and is raspy (which it has been from the beginning when you talked yourself into thinking it was loud and cool). Then you will start trying to add things to tone it down, like cats, maybe another resonator, then finally just sell the LM and get an actual muffler setup. In the end you spent a lot more money. So if the car is driven often get some nice high flow Cats, and a quality muffler you think sounds the best. The Loud Mouth is very annoying after headers and ORY. Your also not leaving anything on the table that you can actually feel. Yeah you may be leaving some dyno power out there but seat of the pants your not telling the difference between 10-15 hp.

I have LT's with a catless Y-pipe into a Borla tunable catback. I don't have any plate in the catback so its basically straight piped to the rear bumper.
It sucks.
There is waaaaay to much rasp. By 2400rpm it sounds like giant firecrackers going off. If you push through up to 3000rpm+ it starts to sound better, but still not great. Plus it has no tone to it at all. I'm definitely putting in the blockoff plate in this spring so it'll flow through the muffler.
