just installed tsp 17/8 lts and ypipe!!
So anyone that's looking into headers now, I just bought the texas speed 1 7/8 longtubes with there offroad ypipe. I originally had pacesetter 1 3/4 on my car but for the price from tsp I couldn't pass up the deal plus I want to grow into them and yes make more power. The fitment was amazing, both headers slid right in, didn't remove anything, didn't take the oilfilter off, took me a total 30 mins to get both headers in an bolted. Now I do have a lift and made things 100x easier for me. I slid both headers into place, lowered the car, put gasket into place, put bolts in, tighten down and was done. Passenger side was a little harder to do, especially the last bolt I had to lift the car back up and tighten it from the bottom but my car sounds great, fitment was perfect, ypipe was pretty easy to install minus my torque arm being relocated, it was a pain trying to piece it together and have the torque arm brace in my way, but overall I am very very pleased with the quality of the header and ypipe and the fitment. Would buy there headers over and over again. Now my car did have new mounts put in 5 years ago from previous owner and prolly about 1000 miles in the 5 years was put on them. So that probably made things a little easier. But anyone looking to buy headers and not spend much, texas speed is the way to go!!!

Im very happy with mine also. I went with the 1 7/8 with their true duals. Fitment was great and I love the sound. I have been wanting to put a set of their 1 3/4 headers and their Y pipe on my truck. Figured it might help with towing some.

my only complaint is that the ypipe where it goes to the catback, it literally rattles against my driveshaft loop/torque arm mount. My torque arm doesn't go to my trans anymore. Think I might cutout the driveshaft loop on the mount and move it over and reweld it all up. But cant wait to put it on the dyno and get some new numbers

I need a new set of headers, when is it worth moving up to 1 7/8 over 1 3/4? I currently have a 6.0 with a ls3 top end on it. I have a pretty good size cam in it and I am wondering if it will benefit me to step up to a larger 1 7/8 setup. Does having larger primaries move the torque curve down lower?
