Default Any experience with ATI blems?

Just bought one off ebay for $249. Seemed like a great deal. Sold by ATI as well with full warranty.

Heard great things about them. Seems a lot of cts-v guys scoop them up since the factory balancers seperate eventually.

I did the same. Mine got here last week. Haven't taken it out of the box yet but bought with confidence knowing ATI's reputation plus the included warranty. Saves quite a bit over retail prices.

I'm running one, and the only blemish was a small light scuff in the paint. I'm very happy with it considering the savings.

Sweet! Sounds like it's definitely a steal then. Just can't beat that price. I got the 10% UD with AC. Can't wait to get it.

Mine as well. Just a bit of paint "burr" where the little bolts are. It's still sitting on my shelf with a slew of other parts waiting to go on.

You seriously can't beat the price and performance.

I requested mine to be built with the high rpm elastomer and they did it at no charge. You've just gotta put that in the notes.

I have one as well and am happy with it, especially since I got it when they were only $220.

Update: Nevermind. I found it.
Do you have a link for the one you purchased? I'm looking for one as well. Hoping I can find the site/vendor because when I search in google, all I get are the 300 - 400 dollar ones.
Thanks,
Dave

Bought a blemished ATI C5 damper off of Ebay, been on for over a year. Little bit of paint smudge.

In my haste to buy one for my Fbody 5.3 turbo on Ebay before it was purchased by someone else (there was only one left) I clicked "Buy it now" and finished the transaction before understanding that I'd actually bought one for a C5. DOH!!!.. I quickly emailed 'The seller' and told him of my mistake and asked if he could send me one for a Fbody instead. He responded later that evening and said he'd check on Monday(yesterday) and let me know if he could put an Fbody hub on that balancer. Yesterday, he said he was successful and it was already shipped! Amazing customer interaction and service. Highly recommend this !

Let me say again, Thanks SO much for posting this OP. I found this thread in a random search last Friday.

Absolutely man. I was stoked at the deal I got. Pretty much an ATI fir the slp price. Glad others were able to take advantage.

Got mine a while back, wanted a 10% but all they had was a 25% so I went with that. The only blem I could see was that the sticker wasn't perfectly flat? Sure, Ill take a big discount for a stupid sticker.

It's not a deal 'per say' it's blemished ATI balancers on E-Bay by ATI
If you follow & keep looking you may be lucky

I called ATI before I bought one and asked what would be wrong with it. There customer service rep told me that most of the blems they sell could pass as nothing wrong with them and if it is noticeable it will be a small scratch or something along those lines. They have high standards when it comes to their products they sell. He also said they would never sell a piece that would not perform the way it was intended to and if I didn't like what I received, I could send it back no questions asked. I think it's cool that they offer these on to the public instead of wholesaling them to one of their dealers.
