Default What type of power can I expect to make??

I decided to do a few upgrades over the winter to 2000 Z28 Vert. I'm about a 2-3 weeks from being finish and just anxious/curious to know what type of power I'll make...

Bottom end is stock.. The main upgrades were BTR stage 4 cam 235/242 620/595 111 lsa, Advanced induction 226cc gm243 heads, fast 102 intake, Fast 92 throttle body, fast 36lb injectors.. Car also has bbk longtubes, vigilante 3600 stall and 3.73 gears..

Any input is appreciated, thanks in advance!!

Depending on the dyno I'd say around 450 or so. Regardless, it sounds like a fun combo

Default A lil update

I finally got the motor all the way together this week and cranked it up for the first time... Won't idle on its own, can't wait to get it tuned and dyno'd May 9th

Sounds really good. What size wheel and tire combo?

I'm guessing it does 450/390

staggered 22s on the street, but for the dyno'd my buddy has a couple sets of street tires.. Just depend on whether the 15s he has fit over the the caliper and at the same time not hit the relocation bracket bolts.. I'm hoping for a higher number

Ok, that's a good idea. You'll probably roast the street tires right off the rim lol.

Everything thing looks good to me bud! Two things that may be holding you back imo.

1. The K&N FIPK
2. Fast 92 throttle body.

Most of us with a fast tb have issues with cold starts and the idle hanging. Hope you dont!

Good luck!

I agree with the restriction on the TB. If you have a 102 intake and a 92 TB, that automatically says restriction to me. It's simple physics. Looks like its gonna be an AWESOME combo though. Im guessing 435hp/410tq. Let us all know. It sounds great and I love it. Great job.

Thanks man, I actually thought about doing the 102 throttle body as well but i read a few issues with those as oppose to the 92.. I Might go back to a lid, I jus like how the k&n looked haha
