You might get a horse or 2 but the peace of mind is well worth the price.

I have msd wires on mine, I don't regret getting them. Peace of mind, as riddler said. Now if I can just figure out what to do cause one of their rubber boots is getting melted by my headers!

Uhh, too close?? but not to alarm you, are you sure your header is not glowing? perhaps running lean on that cylinder? I would check the injector.

The boot is actually pressing against the header. I hadn't noticed it before, but it is. There's a small spot where it looks like it singed the boot, but it hasn't become melted just yet. It has the stock heat shields on it.

The guy that tuned it didn't say anything about it. I may just be able to bend the heat shield a bit to direct it away. I'll know more when I get home from work.

FWIW, my Taylor Thundervolt 10.4mm wires have great clearance from my LT's. This is for anyone who might click on this thread deciding about spark plug wires.

My stock wires with 12,000 miles on them had .725 thousandths ohms of resistence compared to my MSD's with only .025 thousandths. You will get a better spark obviously but don't look for any SOTP major *** kicking power return.

I had a wire touching my primary on the drivers' side after my header install and MSD wires. I used a moroso clip for standard long wires that I connected between the two middle plug wires-- that kept the wire off the pipe.

No problems after 9 mos.
