The OPSU is on the driver side rear. The main vacuum hose from the brake booster runs right next to it, so be careful when disconnecting it.

All the sharp things under the cowl

Change all your sensors, knock and harness and the opsu while your in there.

Have 8 old white socks, some rags and a can of brake cleaner or carb cleaner handy you will see why when you open it up.

Make sure the map sensor is seated correctly. Use the low profile valley cover bolts. Don't over tighten! Lol

take those damn pushpins out of the cowl because the top of your hand will look like an etch a sketch when you are done

Op: just curious what gaskets you're going with?

And to the others: what are the part numbers for the OPSU and the socket?

Low profile bolts are for a fast intake install, not ls6 intake.

Don't scare the OP lol

That's right! I'm just paranoid about it lol.

Seen lots of guys getting it done on here lately with the LS6 intake and stock ported/polished throttle body. Good job op!

[QUOTE=wayland1985;18821030]Op: just curious what gaskets you're going with?

i bought felpro gaskets for 25$ shipped from jegs.

i ended up spending 90$ on 2 block offs, the ls6 front crossover, and the gaskets.

including 2 day shipping.
