Default L92 Truck Intake Manifold

Hey Guy's

I have a truck intake manifold I am planning on putting on my LS1.

The manifold part number is 25383922 and it's from 2006 to 2008 ish truck engines from the research I have done.

I need injectors for it, I have found the part # that matches the manifold to be 12580681.

I was planning on using injector part # 12576341 as they flow more and are available in Australia.

My only issue is that in my searching I have found that the truck injectors are slightly taller. Please see (http://www.nookandtranny.com/Images/...s/dsc03343.jpg)

Also wanting to confirm that these will be what I need to get the LS1 harness to work with the new injectors. (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EV6-EV14-...item58b42686f2)

thanks heaps, Clay

Are you sure the L92 rectangular port intake matches your heads?

Hey mate, thanks for the reply. The part number listed above is definitely the correct number. It is also a cathedral port manifold. I was incorrect in stating L92.

Also I have an early ls1 3 bolt throttle body. I can buy a converter to get it to bolt to this 4 bolt manifold. Should I just get a 90mm 4 bolt tb?

thanks

Oh Kay glad we cleared that up , so you have a NNBS truck intake . That's good, those are good performers one of the best factory intakes imho. This intake will not disappoint you , unlike the L92 vs LS3 intake .
As for the tb I would go with a Nick Williams 92 , if your budget will allow it. Can you tell me what is your build , whats this going in , and what your goal is ? Oh by the way Im watching Australian drag racing on the tv right now as I write this !

Thanks for the reply. Never heard of nick Williams but I'll look him up.

I have a Nissan patrol which is nissans version of the toyota landcruiser.

its now got a 2000 model ls1 and 4l60e in it (ls1 manifold not ls6). When I brought it, it had a massive cam in it. I've since put a comp 54-408-11 in it, as the truck weighs 2.5 tonne without anyone in it I wanted to get the torque up as I want it as a 4wd / tow car... wheel stands would be nice too

Could you tell me if ls3 injectors will work in this manifold?

What's the part number for the manifold bolts? Are there any substitutes I can use?

Also I've heard of guys not using manifold gaskets. And just using a bit of rtv sealant is that advisable?

aussie drag racing is boring. Get in youtube and check out aussie burnouts

Ok , that sounds like a pretty cool conversion swap you have there ! I would gone with something like Cam Motion stage 2 drop in cam . Here is a link to a Nick Williams tb on Aussie ebay

As far as the manifold swap I would use an injector that will work with your fuel rail , without using an adaptor or spacer . I would use truck injectors , but regardless you probally going to need a plug connector to adapt to your LS1 harness. Here is a link to truck manifold swap old style to nnbs . A lot of this thread will not apply to you since your LS1 not truck but its still a good read . This swap was dbw also and used a X link which will not apply because you dbc.

I would run the nnbs fuel rail with the correct oem injector or the flex fuel injector. The LS3 injector is much shorter . Take a look at what your getting into. Hope this helps.
