Default Dynomax super turbo muffler

Anyone have one of these on their 6.0? If so what did you think?

Is it louder than stock? I've heard they're quite at low rpms but get louder at high rpms

Its definitely louder than stock. Not too loud by any means but a nice change from a stock muffler.

Turbo mufflers have a pretty distinct sound. They are kinda old school and have been around quite a while. I've always heard they didn't flow well, but don't know that for sure. Based on the internal design of them I can believe it however.

I bought one and from what I can see it has a pretty straight through design

I have them on my A3 69 GTO. Supposedly they flowed the among best for that kind of application in testing that was done years ago. The sound is really deep and resonant, and only moderately loud.

So I bought it and installed it today. I'm very pleased with the sound; has a deep rumble & really lives up when I stomp the throttle. Not sure about any hp gains but 2nd gear seems to pull a lot harder sotp. I'm very pleased.

Yep, that GTO with the Super Turbos is my favorite among my cars for exhaust note. Of course, having 434 cubes helps

Upload it to YouTube and post the link here. I'd love to hear it since I'm thinking about buying this muffler too.

Dynomax super turbo on 2000 6.0: http://youtu.be/8EUcRw13APk

Not sure if that's blue smoke or not but can't blame a 300k motor for complaining a little at 6k rpms lol

I have dual 3" Dynomax Super Turbos on my car. My car is pretty quiet considering what it is. I like the sound of them and they do a good job of eliminating drone. I feel like my car makes some pretty good power through them. You can click on the video in my signature if you want to hear what it sounds like.

Video is set to private.

They have a nice sale right now on jegs and other sites. $25 rebate card. If I can get them to honor it on 2, it'll bring the cost down to $50 each with free shipping. That's nice.
