Turbo mufflers have a pretty distinct sound. They are kinda old school and have been around quite a while. I've always heard they didn't flow well, but don't know that for sure. Based on the internal design of them I can believe it however.

I bought one and from what I can see it has a pretty straight through design

So I bought it and installed it today. I'm very pleased with the sound; has a deep rumble & really lives up when I stomp the throttle. Not sure about any hp gains but 2nd gear seems to pull a lot harder sotp. I'm very pleased.

Not sure if that's blue smoke or not but can't blame a 300k motor for complaining a little at 6k rpms lol

I have dual 3" Dynomax Super Turbos on my car. My car is pretty quiet considering what it is. I like the sound of them and they do a good job of eliminating drone. I feel like my car makes some pretty good power through them. You can click on the video in my signature if you want to hear what it sounds like.
