Default Warr Performance 92mm throttle body

Anyone bought one of these? Any opinions before I pull the trigger? Just trying to avoid spending $$$ on a name brand. I don't want to have to modify it and supposedly they check every one the sell before shipping.

Any input appreciated.

Never heard of it. And if its a pos them checking it before they ship it means nothing.

Will be putting this on an LSA supercharger. What would you suggest?

What gen 3 setup are you running a LSA blower on? And I would suggest a Nick Williams. Going w/ a blower setup then nickel and diming on a TB just doesn't make sense.

Its going on a 5.3 with adapter plates for cathedral heads. I have actually thought about running my stock ls6 throttle body on it for now... Not sure if it would make much difference.

Id imagine that would choke the **** out of it, I would port the LSA snout and run at least a ported 92mm.

Yeah my other option was to pop a 92 on there and call it a day, I didn't really want to undergo porting right now, and from what I can tell there is only a marginal gain from that.

It's probably like a lot of the ebay branded TB out there. Once you do a little work to them, they aren't too bad. If it were me, I'd pony up for a Nick Williams.

Looks a lot like the one Ballistic Speed sold before they went under. If so it's a very good piece.

$400 for a mechanical throttle body with no sensors is just insane. Does no one else think it's ludicrous you can buy a brand new Holley carburetor cheaper than a chunk of aluminum with a blade in it?

Like so many other TB's including some name brands, if it's not tested on a car it's not tested. I've had TB's that whistled, got stuck once under vacuum, got stuck at WOT and had all sorts of vacuum leaks.

I love my Holley 90mm. Probably one of the best TB's you can get. Quality wise.

It is what it is and its not ludicrous if one of the aforementioned things happen that Exidous stated.

The sad thing is the cheap TB I bought was to replace a Fast 90mm TB which was a POS.
