Hooker duel 2.5 exhaust or Stainless Works single 3.5"
I am looking to upgrade my Stock SS SLP single 3" exhaust
For either
The new Hooker true duel 2.5" exhaust
or
The Stainless Works 3.5" single exhaust with Turbo muffler.
OK if I go with the SW3.5 I will have a custom 3" Y pipe with 3.5" merge made up
Which one would you think should flow better??

I hear the Mufflex has fitment issues etc,
Im most likely going with the Stainless Works 3.5 and a custom 3" Y pipe with a 3X3.5 merge , I am thinking it will flow good enough for my Goal 800RWHP,
Right now im making 740 and that's with a 2.5 Y pipe and the Factory SS SLP duel/duel tip single 3" exhaust ,
My Y pipe is FLP (Finish line performance) and has that crazy bottle neck in it , at its smallest point at the 2.5 to 3" merge it looks like it goes down to 2.25 where the two 2.5" pipes merge to the 3" flare, I know people who cut it out for a 3" spool piece and pick up 12-15 HP on heads and cam NA cars, never mind what a Blower car would pick up.

Area wise I don't think there is much difference between the two. I would go with the one that fits the best without banging the underside of your car. 800RWHP is a lot with either system.

Alchemist made more like 860RWHP with the SW3.5
I was talking to a LS turbo guy today, he said a 3.5" single pipe out of the Turbo and all the way to the back bumper with a straight threw turbo muffler design can support 1,000HP at the motor , so either way thats 800-900 at the wheels
Although he was talking trubo and not supercharged with Headers + Y pipe

Well first off if your ruling out , running the hooker system with a long tube header. Then to me its simple ,go with the 3 1/2. I don't like mid length headers, but their cat back looks decent. If you don't want to change the intermediate pipes. Then look at Bassani TDs.
