Default ASP Pullies before SFI Approved

I have heard there has been some problems w/the older ASP pullies. I have them on my 2001 Z28, been on there for over a year. The ones before they were SFI approved. It is the cranbk/alt set. Anyway, my car only dynoed 265RWHP with all free mods, SLP LM and YPipe....I heard it may be because of the pullies, that the older ones were actually robbing HP from the engines. Anyone know anythiung about that?

I haven't heard anything about that...I know mine performed solidly with the addition of an ASP back in the day

I don't really know, but that does seem awfuly low. I'd say just go w/ your intuition. If you're thinking that's the problem, then it's probably going to bug you till you know for sure anyway, so go for it. If it were me at least.

It really does seem low. I posted my dyno results a few months ago and someone had mentioned something about the pullies. I was going to put the stock pullies back on to check it out but I got involved with the Buick. Now this is bothering me again. Thanks for the input guys.....
Wouldnt one expect this car to dyno nearer or at 300RWHP

The old ASP pullies didn't show power loss, they were throwing the outer rings off and imbedding themselves into radiators. They are now welded on instead of pressed. This should have nothing to do with your low numbers.

it could just be the car, we all have heard about cars having more power than others that were stock. Maybe he has the opposite problem
