Default plug change

hi i just put in new plugs, tr55, stock number 3951 v-power plugs an it hesitating now, an it didnt before, i checked for loose plugs an wires an nothin, what could be wrong, are they wrong plugs, i put old ones back in runs mint again, what wrong with these plugs, it had platnium plugs in it now? thanks

That really doesnt make sense. They are the right plugs. I gap mine at .050.There is a piece missing to the puzzle. Good luck!

I would recheck the plugwire connections to the plugs and coils

could be a bad plug? drop any?

You could over tightened one plug and snapped it,visually inspect the plugs see if anything out of the ordinary.

Eeew. That would suck. You may also want to just make sure all your wires are on tight. They can be a real pain.

yeah i made sure all plugs wires were on, didnt drop any, went for ride after i was done ran like ****, came home put old plugs back in, ran mint again, u would think it run better with new plugs, im boggeld, thanks

I hate to say this, but I have had bad plugs from NGK before. Back in 99 or 00 I think...I had to hunt for NGK TR-55VXs for my 98 S-10, payed out the butt for the darn things. Had to replace them with Bosch because of the same problem, pretty sure it was a bad plug. I thought it was just a fluke.

here the guy at oreilley auto parts said that the ngk tr 55's were only 1.95 a piece. is this way too cheap for the one im supposed to use? are there different kind of ngk tr55's?
