Default Intake Question

sup guys. i want to get a Volant air intake for my 99 z28. I noticed that the trans am intakes used Two filters at the front, and the camaro uses on big filter. I like the look of the dual filters, so would the trans am intake bolt right up to the front of my Z? since it is the same motor. Thanks guys

There is only one air filter on ALL stock LS1 F-bodies and they are the same size. Trans Am WS6s do have the twin air intake nostrils in the hood if that's what you mean.
I wouldn't get a Volant, I'd only get a lid with a K&N (or stock) filter personally.

DTYSON, I am tryingto sort out which intake i want to go with. Since you are selling yours, I wonder what you thought of it. Did it help with performance? noticable? Installation issues? Any comments. also, why are you getting rid of yours?

Ok ok, I thought you were talking about the stock set ups, nevermind.

I'm not positive, but this is what I've heard... the Volant kits sold for Trans Ams or the WS-6 will not fit on a Z28/SS unless you have the Ultra-Z hood.
