I am new to this forum, and need a little help. My car currently dynos at 300 rwhp, 310 rwtq. I have C5 a4 and want to ask what or how many bolt-ons i need to gain 50 rwhp.

350 through an auto is going to require just about full bolt ons.
long tube headers
ls6 or fast intake
ory or x
lid
p&p t body
pulley
dyno tune
possibly electric water pump.
i did 345 w/ no tune, and full accessories so it's attainable but gonna need just about every bolt on, or nitruous...

No problem, but if you're looking to make your car faster, there is a cheaper way to do it. A torque converter (3500 rpm or higher) will probably shave just as much off your et (if not more than all that other stuff). Most people will say .4 - .7 seconds w/ a quality tc. Good luck.

Head and cam will do it. If you get the Kooks or QTP headers (they are reported to make the best power), high flow cats and y, lid, a freer flowing exhaust, and a good tune you might make it without the cam.

All the bolt ons (headers, tb, intake, exhaust, tuning) to get 50 hp will cost about $3000 and thats installing them yourself. Just my thoughts.

With 5000 you can get way more than 50rwhp. I say get a Torque converter, LG longtube headers, LS6 intake if you have a 97-00 vette, cam and tuning, some sort of catback(borla stingers maybe??). You might even be able to get a budget set of heads.

where did arbitrary 50rwhp mark come from, if you just want that your better off with the n2o as someone already stated. what you need to do is come up with a plan on how you intend to use the car, what your ultimate goals are, and a realistic budget. an applicable plan will better dictate where money needs to be spent and save you from buying parts you dont need.
check the various links in my sig, most of the information is universal and can be applied to the ybody.

all bolt-ons except electric waterpump

Heads/Cam/Tuning and install
SFC,LCA,PHB,Nittos
That will add 100+ RWHP and be under budget. 1/4 times should be mid 11's at about 120mph.
Skip the Heads/Cam/Install and your way under $5000

$5000 to spend but you can't afford a cam/headers?
WTF MATE
Anyway, since you already have an LS6 intake, you're good on that side. Add a good exhaust and a cam, and you'll make much more power for less money than all the little bolt ons.
Do them later, I say. Get the big power now, then screw around with little stuff like pullies and TB's later.
Or put the pully on while the cam is going in. Would be a labor free mod!
With $5000, you could buy an off the shelf supercharger kit, make more than +100 RWHP, and still have money to spare.
I think magnacharger has a $2800 S/C that would more than meet your goals and budget.

Headers and cam isnt that much for cost...headers=800 say(lil high but kooks is like 750 or less), and cam PACKAGE, which means everything except roller rockers, is about 800$ from thunder racing, get the supercharger ready cuz you know you'll want a supercharger
