Default Ordered my Sweet Thunders and x-pipe

Hey everyone. After buying my headers (MAC mid-lengths) the other day, I just ordered a Jeg's 2.5" universal x-pipe kit, and two 18" x 2.5" Sweet Thunder mufflers. To top that off, my friend put me in touch with a damn good exhaust guy who can get me a deal on putting it all together. I'm so happy I finally have the ball rolling in terms of getting my exhaust done. I'll get some clips up here when it's done.

Tell me about it. His video, Trans Am WS6 RGS's video, and this other I found on ls1sounds.com all made me decide to bite the bullet. I like GMMG, but since the ST's are chambered, I figure it's as close to GMMG true duals as it gets. Good stuff and I can't wait to get it installed. Thanks for all the positive comments everyone.

DMNSPD, if it were premium tips, i'd be down. I saw that in the FS section. If it doesn't sell in a week or two, and your price drops any, lemme know. It'll prolly be gone by then, but thats the soonest I could get the dough together anyhow

Sweet Thunders are da' ****......I was one of the 1st one's to give these babies a try & damn was it the best $120 I spent......I had 1st made a Custom GMMG using these and the sound was awesome but I wanted to get the most power & added torque down low so I used them on my X-pipe set up I have now. Sweet Thunders creat just that, Sweet Music from your exhaust....

Nah, it was just a burnt out shell... People here in Hawaii love to dump cars on the side of the road for some reason.

Exactly how I'm thinking. Not to mention the GMMG is $700 and that can get you the duals and longtubes. More power and less money - what's not to gain from that?

Is your car the white one in the ls1sounds.com clips? If so, your ride definitely made me decide on Sweet Thunders. I like the Z06's too.

I was curious about the same thing..... Im running the Xr1s! Dont get me wrong the sound awesome but i was thinking of something maybe a little louder, but i dont want to deal with the drone and rasp that comes with the change.

Maybe Z28Venom can chime in here and tell me what you think since you have had them both!

By the way Venom SSONYOURSIX whos owns Arizona Power and Sound installed mine and got me that super clearance

My set up has very little drone or rasp. I got rid of the LM set up I had just for that reason. The sweet thunder duals is the longest exhaust Ive had on my car (close to two years now) and Im still still completely happy with it.

I went with 2.5inch muffler since the rest of my pipes were 2.5 inch.

If you go with the 3inch the only difference in the inlet/outlet part of the muffler. The inner baffle and everything else is pretty much the same.
