Default TSP true duals X-pipe w/ SLP long tubes on the car!

The shop just finished up the modifications to the TSP X-pipe system to fit my SLP long tube headers. the drivers side section infront of the X was bent about 3 degrees more and the passangers side was bent a bit and lengthened a couple inches. It now slips right on to my SLP long tubes perfectly. Got a couple pics of it on the lift.

we just got about 2-3" of snow and it's still snowing so I left my baby in the shop. I'll be picking it up as soon as the snow clears. I have only got to hear it reving it up in the shop. so far I like the sound better than the Y-pipe setup. can't wait to drive it!

the section behind the x looks offset to the driver side, is that because of the aftermarket driveshaft?

looks good

If it wasn't offset like that it would be too close to the TQ arm. it can't be centered becuase of the room under the car.

hahahah Dan, what's up. I knew you were lurking on the board somewhere. We'll have to compare my TSP setup to your Speed inc custom duals. I'll drive it to your house once the snow stops.

I dynoed the car right after I did the headers. my setup was: direct flow lid, SLP ram air kit, SLP long tube headers, SLP 3" offroad Y-pipe w/ a 3" cutout before the axle and Speed Inc dyno tuning. It put down 349HP and 351TQ to the wheels. I never got bone stock #'s but i assume baseline is around 300HP to the wheels on a stock m6 car. so aprox 50rwhp from headers and exhaust and a lid, i think that is pretty decent gains.

Is that a BMR TA??? How's the fitment of the TA and the TSP X-system???

I know alotta people are saying it's near impossible to fit a aftermarket TA in and run the TSP kit....any problems there?

i've been doing research on the whole torque arm tsp duals setup, partially cause i'm doing it, but anyways, I was wondering how does it sound first of all, i assume you love it, I hope so cause i'm planning on getting the same setup with kooks instead of slp, 2nd of all, do you think you lost any ground clearance with that torque arm? I've heard that Random Technology is the only torque arm you wont lose clearance with. What were your mods when you ran 12.6? that time is pretty good but so is the money lol. And this last question is for everyone, does hte random technology torque arm come in chrome moly?

I think I'm going Random Tech....seems to be the best bet for a TD's setup, and still be a good step up over stock

yes that is a BMR adj TA. it is VERY close to the drivers side muffler. everything is a really tight fit w/ this system....I may have a problem w/ the X hitting near the cross member when the motor torques, but i'm not sure it's only like a 1/2" clearnce.

As far as the sound goes i just drove it home but its real wet so i can't get on it. I found normal driving it's quieter than a 3" ORY w/ a cutout. but driving over 3k rpm or accelerating from a light a bit, it'll get real loud real quick. it's definetly a unique sound not like a Y-pipe set up. as for ground clearnce the slp headers/y-pipe i had were the worst i have ever seen for clearnce. so this x-pipe is actaully not bad from what i had. but the turn downs on the mufflers are only 2" off the ground it is the lowest part of the exhaust. I'm sure if the TQ arm was stock i could tuck the mufflers up higher.

I only had a 275/40/17 BFG drag radial and a BMR TQ arm to help my 60fts. I ran this time before my subframe connectors and LCA's were put on. stock springs/shocks but no front sway bar. it still only went 1.9 sixtys

Looks pretty good. I just installed my TSP true duals last Friday and I love them. I had to take mine to an exhaust shop to move the bullets up alittle higher, but I have pretty good clearance at the moment. The only thing the rubs is the Xpipe on my DS loop and that really isn't bad, I'm just going to get some high temp. rubber hose and put in between them. I can't wait to dyno and finally get a tune.
Damn, these sound soooo much deeper and better than a Y pipe w/ cut-out, and cat back.
