Depends on the size of your piping based on the parts page , no? I've read most people go 12" and don't care about noise, or 16" if they want it a little more muffled.

So 157-40943 or 157-40944?

Well i did some searching and it seems everyone with the SLP Loudmouth (what i have)is using part#40085 which is 3" in/out & 15" long. I was confused as to why they are using the 3" one b/c as far as I know I thought the LM piping was only 2.5"? Maybe it needs to be wider b/c it's wider at the point of the resonator of the LM (the part being replaced)??

AFAIK the I-pipe on a LM is 3" thats where the XR-1 mounts ,they go to 2.5" pipe for the tailpipes. .
