Default Hooker LT stainless?WTF

ok, i just bought some hooker stainless steel headers off here. Now i hear as if i had any doubt, that the hookers dont fit right and they have some quality issues. For another reason my buddy is telling me that the LT's will cause more hot air that comes into the interior and that they will make my car run 30 degrees hotter. He said thats somthing to think about and heat doesnt go well with aluminum.

Most headers have some small fitament issues that need to be resolved. Your car should not run 30 degrees hotter with LT's, nor should it be any hotter in the car. Mine didn't at least. I get some additional heat from the dumps, not the headers.

Coating usually runs around $150.00 - $200.00 for a set of LTs plus shipping/handling to and from but this really isn't necessary with stainless steel headers.
Check the sponsors over there ---> for a place to have it done (Thunder Racing maybe?).

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I have never heard of Stainless Hooo kers or 1 7/8" primary tube Hookers. Maybe I'm behind the times.

Car running 30* hotter with LT's??? That's a new one. Fitment issues - although we all have basically the same car, some cars have fitment issues while MOST don't. Hooker is a quality product I wouldn't hesitate to use (stainless steel was a good choice). Most LT installations are a PITA, so don't get frustrated if you don't finish in a couple of hours. Good luck.
