Default MAC or KOOKS ground clearance?

ive decided to go with either stainless Kooks or locally coated MAC mid lengths, both will have off-road y's. I want to know which will have better ground clearance because I want to lower my SS

i've done a bunch of searching and I've heard good things about both as far as clearance but I want to know which is better.

Thanks!

Hands down the MAC's will give better clearance. I'm an inch lower all around and I never scrape.

ok I know Kooks has a 3 inch collector and 3 inch y and the MACs use smaller diameter, but kooks is flattened on the drivers side so "common freaking sense" tells me it all depends on how flat the kooks drivers side pipe is and how close either the MAC or kooks y pipe is to the underside of the car... 2 things i can't tell from the pictures i've seen. But between the two, i've just about decided on kooks. But now i've read some more about stainless works and the delima continues

thanks guys
