Default Stupid Exhaust Leak

How much power loss can be caused by an exhaust leak?? I have an exhaust leak from my 3" Y to my 2 1/5" stock catback..I ordered SLP "LM"..but i was curious for now

What the heck stock catback is that? My stock cat-back was 2 3/4". If the leak is that far back I don't think you're going to loose any power. I mean, what is a cutout anyways? A giant exhaust leak .

Since your leak is after the O2 sensors, I don't think you will lose any power, it will just make that annoying ticking sound.

Yeah, dont worry about any power loss. If you want to get rid of the ticking, you can glob on some high temp copper RTV, so long as its after and away from the o2 sensors.

You'll be fine lol. It's not a big deal. LS1s love to breath anyways, I don't know why everyone gets so concerned about losing torque through high flow exhausts. I gained quite a bit of hp/tq with my tsp true duals and they're basically pipes with resonators on the end (no restriction at all ).
