Be carefull w/ the filters though K&N are supposed to have a fittment problem, I never had a problem with mine. Some people say the hollley power shot fit the best.

I just installed the MTI clear lid and K&N filter. These were a perfect fit together and the look is unbelievable. But you should pick a lid that you like there is no right or wrong.

i'd consider looking for a used one in the FS section, it would save you a couple bucks. and like everyone else said, a lid is a lid.

Don't buy the SLP one, rubs against the hood and the fitting to the box isn't that great!!!

An old Camaro Performers Mag flogged 6 lids. They all gained about 5 hp over the stock lid. It seemed that SLP had the best fit and the smoothest inside.

Buy the cheapest intact and functional lid you can possibly buy. Used, of course.

I read that too. It also said that the MTI lid fit a little loose. Is that true because I really like looktheir carbon fiber lid.

An aftermarket one.

They are all about the same. I have an MTI carbon fiber lid on both of my cars.

Peace,
Craig.

I would use the TSP Lid. Whisper Lid's fit like crap and break easy.
