Question Know Of An Out Of Sight Catch Can?

Seaching hasn't yielded an answer. I'm getting oil in the intake and I'm hesitating the AMW can because I don't want any extra clutter under the hood. Do anyone know if there's an out of site location or better yet does anyone know a link of making one from scratch? There has to be an answer. TIA.

The answer is to just buy the AMW peice. I don't think you're going to be able to find place to hide it. If you know what a catch can consists of it wouldn't be too hard to make one, but it probably wouldn't look as good as the AMW peice. Personally I don't mind having it under my hood. It's mounted on front of the passenger side head. Even if you did find an out of the way place to hide it, you're still going to have the pcv lines running to and from it.

Mine's sort of stealth... That's it to the left of the battery under the hood support. (Greddy can).

Yeah I like the stealth shot. I don't want it in sight because it'll look like the egr valve mess. My car's an '02 so I don't have the clutter from the factory, and I'd hate to add clutter.I don't mind a hose or two, but not the whole honkin' can sitting out there like a big zit.

I mounted mine on the drivers side of the radiator shroud. It's a black can, so most never even notice it.

Mounted mine beside the battery, like Bad30th. Except I have the original battery, so its decently hidden. You can check out my website, page 2 for a couple of pics.

Good tips. I wonder if there is any other makers of a good catch can for less? There has to be!! Hmmm... a business opportunity!

Go for it. The AMW is machined aluminum. Very nicely made. If you can duplicate that for less, more power to ya.

AMW comes with everything you need.. by the time you piece a bunch of stuff together, not to mention your time, it's more than well worth it.

I think he was looking at mass production. If he figures something out, then he could possibly make some extra $$$
