What headers to get?

What headers to get?
i have read through and i am still a bit confused on which one i should get.
I was thinking about hte pacesetters just to be cheap about.
I've also been thinking of either the Dynatech Supermaxx or the qtp. (they both seem pricey thats the hesitation)
My question really is two fold about the cheapones.
1) Are they harder to install? I was reading about hte QTP's being easy. How hard are they in general anyway?
2) Power wise, do they all make the same power regardless? (long tubes)
I am less worried about hte lastng since i dont drive the camaro in the snow and store it all winter.
thanks

All long tubes make the same power.
Go with stainless if you can afford it (QTP, Kooks)
If budget is your concern, go with Pacesetter coated.
As far as install, I can attest that the new Pacesetters are cake to install. Six hours by myself in the driveway. Search for an install guide, then con, I mean, talk a friend into helping with a six-pack and get to work!

If u want Lt's get the stainless steel, because in about 1 year rust, and coating will chip off..Especially in snowy areas.
Mid-lengths are a great way to go also...Not cheap, but if u plan to do suspension u might want to consider them. Click on "The beast" in my sig and look through the pics...it'll give an idea of what mid-lengths look like.

Pacesetters on the cheap side, if you want to spend money QTP/Kooks/Dynatech
I have pacesetters and they fit very nicely, the nonfitment issues have been cleaned up now for quite a while.

One final question.
How hard are headers to install?
Like can evne a novice person do it? My friend has done some work, so i am sure i can get him to help me as well, plus its not my daily driver so even if it sits in the garage and takes a week to do ... i have the spae for it ...

Coated Jet-Hots here....basically the same as hookers with a better located o2 sensor....
and you can get them with or without emissions stuff...
they go in easier than most of the headers on the market in my opinion...
they have been easier than any other Longtube I have installed so far....and I have helped on a bunch of them...

If you're not going stainless then Pacesetter's are the way to go.
I just got done putting them in last weekend the install was pretty easy. Only problem I have is with the Y pipe. I have the Eibach pro kit and now there is only 2-1/2" of clearance between the Y and ground, the headers tuck up nicely and there's plenty of clearance at the collectors. I've heard SLP's are a nightmare on lowered cars.
Definetly get a friend to help you'll save alot of time. With both sides going in from the bottom it makes it alot easier with one person under the car holding the header in place while the other up top lines up the gasket and starts the bolts.

go with Kooks or QTP. QTP is more expensive, and the High Velocity Merge Collectors(HVMC)'s are a 400 dollar option.
I run Kooks, and will continue to do so for the main reason is that they're equal to QTP's in every way, they even have a better fitting plain ORY. Plus they're cheaper. Kooks 1 7/8 = 780. QTP = 830. 50 bucks is a lot when you're on a budget.
If you can't go stainless, Pacesetters will do just fine. They fit well now that they're revised. Just be prepared for the possibility of the coating coming off/rusting.
