ORY should i go 2.5" or 3"
k im about to order a ORY and im gettin a borla cat back (3") should i get a 2.5" or 3" ORY? im gunna keep my stock manifolds. what would yield the best performance? Thanks

I wouldn't bother with an aftermarket y-pipe if you don't have headers yet... because once you do have headers, the ORY that you have to fit with stock manifolds won't fit, and you'll just have to buy one all over again.

Same advice here. Don't bother with the Y-pipe or cats until you get headers. You probably won't gain anything and you will have to spend the money all over again with headers.

i think he wants to retain the stock manifolds, because of CA smog issues. I know that the ORY isnt CA compliant, but it is easier to just swap that out when smog comes around. Believe me i told him to do some LT's but he just wants to do the ORY. He should pic up some hp since the stock Y is such a POS.

I don't know where in california that is, but i would guess that stainless steel headers may not be worth the price. I woud still recommend them, but not as strongly as I would if you lived in the rust belt.
