horsepower gains from a cutout
anyone know how many horses you can expect from a cutout? Also, is it more beneficial to locate the cutout right after the Y pipe, or right before the muffler? I'm guessing right after the Y pipe since the exhaust wont have to go through the cat.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Again, in the I pipe, there is a place that you can put it right before the rear wheel almost. If you look under your car, you cant miss it, It looks like It was made to go there. You can see gains anywhere from 5-12 hp. I gained 10 on my old formula. I have one on my camaro, but havent dynod with a cutout yet.

Flowtech is the most popular...honestly all cutouts are about the same..they will range anywhere between 25-40 bucks for a manual one
If your looking for electirc, IMO DMH performance is the best one out there. But alot of people go with QTP or McCord. Its up to you. They range from 150-200 bucks
And look for about 20 bucks to get the cutout welded up at a local exhaust shop
