Default problem w/ tsp lid

I just bought a tsp lid it doesnt seal to well,in the front its nice and tight but in the back by the clips theres a 1/8 to 1/4 inch gap between the lid and the filter.where it hooks up to maf it hits on the radiator shroud thats why it doesnt go down all the way.I bought it cause its supose to be the best fitting lid.Im gonna call them on monday, but I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem.

Your sig says "modified maf". What does that mean? Are you running the stock bellows?

if your using a K&N airfilter the stipping is lower and wont fit as well as using stock paper filter....aka wont fit around the inside of the lid rather it just sits in the tray.

ive had a couple TSP lids. and i notice my lid would do that if i had anything but a paper filter in there., have you done the airbox 'lift' mod? that would also cause it.

spacer of some sort. but i wouldnt recommend doing it with a tsp lid, thats how i cracked my first one. it will put more of an angle on the neck of the lid to the MAF and ultimatly more stress on the sides which will cause it to crack.....i learned the hard way...buh by $170 CF 75mm lid from TSP
