plugs plugs, everywhere plugs!
Well I called a local parts supplier here today that is pretty good with performance stuff and knows his parts. I told him that I had just recently put nitrous in the car, and my current TR55 plugs werent exactly a big fan of the bottle. I asked his suggestion, told him what car/motor I had etc, and he suggested I put Champions in the car! He said he'd call the plug dealer and ask them what would work best for my application and call me back. Honestly, I think they might be a good plug for a regular 350sbc, but not the LS1. I dont think I'll be putting any Champion plugs in my motor, what do you guys think?

For nitrous just put the NGK TR6's in. I wouldn't be one to experiment with plugs while spraying. Although I would guess that Champion does make a plug in the proper heat range it's just a matter of which one is it? Does Champion even know? They'd probably just tell you there best guess.

I just got off the phone with NGK! He's recommending a TR7ix for my application. He said I could go with a TR6ix, but he'd recommend a TR7ix, he said even tho it might richen the mixture up, that the o2 sensor will compensate for it and lean it out. He said to gap it at 40 thousand. Sigh, all this plug talk since friday is starting to drive me banana's. Im almost considering going rotary!!!

Rotary engines have plugs too. Try going 2 stroke.
With N20 you don't want anything leaning the fuel mixture on you. Almost everyone on this board who runs nitrous uses the TR6's. I'd follow their lead. (no pun intended)

BLASTED ROTARIES! They really are good for nothing.
Yeh thats what I did. Just placed an order for TR6s, local guy didnt have them in stock so Ill have em in wednesday latest. Figured you cant beat word of mouth. Companies will try to sell you whatever they make money on. Word of mouth is what it is... The word of others through experience.
