Default Problem with TB Bypass...

installed my TB bypass a few weeks ago and where the black nipples cover the tubes comin off on the TB itself...... i checked them(for leaks) and every now and then it will have a coolant residue on the end like it has leaked out a lil and then dried up

is this a problem???

i clamped them off and i dont know what else to do...

The coolant pipe on the throttle body itself, right? I wouldn't worry about it, probably some coolant that you didn't take out of the pipe, and is leaking out of there. I didn't even bother to cover mine up.

yeah man, you know the TB has two little pipes that come off of it... one toward the right side and one on the front left

the kit came with two black rubber caps to cover them up...

take tb off
stick air hose to end of one tube
pull trigger
put back on car.
done.

dont worry about the caps... its not like something could get in there and hurt it...

you could even cut/grind the tubes off....

I saw a pic of a guy that ground that potion of the TB off... one of these days when I'm at home bored I ws gonna take teh TB off to polish the intake better... and grind that off while I'm at it.

Don't be concerned.. there's only one in and out on the TB for coolant.. and neither of them are hooked up to the system anymore ( I hope! )
