its a tight sumbitch. i think its a 24mm socket. use a 6pt and the longest breaker bar you can. get a longer pipe if needed and just go slow. it will break free. its a 240lb tq bolt. its gonna take some *** to break loose. make sure you have a new bolt to put in it though.

Heat the head of the bolt up with a propane torch to melt the patch lock compound, it will come right out then. when you reinstall the pulley, put it in a pot of boiling water heat for five minutes remove with gloved hand, lightly grease hub and press on by hand to get started. use the old bolt to run pulley on the crankshaft, remove this bolt then install locktited ARP bolt and torque to 190#

I just slipped my jack handle over my 1/2" breaker bar and it worked like a charm. I stretched it the same way.

I used a little heat on the bolt's head, not too much, and it came out much easier. It was right around freezing in my garage at the time though.

I almost rounded mine off at first using a 12 pt 24mm, I suggest trying a six point, deep well 15/16" first. I don't know if it was just my bolt, my socket or the cold temp of hte bolt (in the 30's) but 24mm just seemed to big. The 15/16" fit easily.

Not all of us can afford an air compressor and tools. Or even have somewhere to keep/use them.

get a long breaker bar and 2 people, i had to have one person hold the brake on the car even with the trans in 4th and the rear parking brake on it keep trying to drive forward, that bitch is on there. it helps to have 2 people on the breaker bar too.

Get a breaker bar and a 24mm socket (6point) Now disconect the fuel pump fuse and the coil packs. Put the socket/bar on the bolt and position the bar so that when you crank it, it will hit the floor. This will pop it off everytime.
