Default Problem After Lt,ory, Trans Filter Install

Ok here's the deal. I installed my pacesetter lt's,ory, and installed a trans filter. To make a long story short my trans filter wouldn't fit so installed the original one back on the car.(car has 33000 miles and was shifting fine just figured while I under there.) Anyway the problem is when I take off the car for lack of a better word shutters. It does it at part throttle and seems to worse when I turn. Any clues as to what's going on. BTW I removed the egr, and air pump also. Thanks.

I'd check to make sure that all your trans and 02 wires were in good condition - not pinched, kinked, or burnt. When you turn, they may come loose a little and cause the studder? maybe? anyone else?

Dude, i have the same thing when i take off, and turn. My problem is the Y pipe banging underneath the car, causing what feels like tranny shudder.

Thanks I was just about to ask if that was what it could be. I guess it's time for some poly motor mounts. Any draw backs from these. Any other solutions that might be better.

Any suggestions as to what will. New Y pipe or just get over it. Or do you think it's something else.

I just talked to friend of mine that has a 99 camaro and he said that his did the same thing. He was told by the shop that did his install that this was normal and it was caused by turbulance where the Y pipe merged. Has anyone else heard this. Basically I just want to make sure nothing is wrong with the car because I'm taking it to the track tonight for the first time. Thanks.

I guess a better way to describe the problem is that the whole car shakes from about 2500-3000 rpm's then quits.Any body else got any suggestions.

Please forgive me on my spelling, science and math were more my game.

Ok I guess that it isn't hurting anything I just ran an 8.524 with it and it felt good. It seems to be getting better. I may just have pms disorder who knows.

pms disorder = post modifaction stress disorder
